Mahamadou Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana has on May 4 2017 said that the Ghana government is rolling out a new “1 tertiary student, 1 toothpaste” policy.

Speaking to Citi  FM, he said “this policy is to make our youth more confident when speaking. Most of our tertiary students cannot afford toothpaste and tooth brush. So we believe this will go a long way to help them.”
