John Dumelo

Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, who was heavily criticized on social media after posting the picture of a young man selling bread in traffic on Instagram has lashed out at his critics, saying they are hypocrites.

According to him, he was just trying to project a story of a hustler but his message was deliberately misconstrued by some individuals who blew it up.

“I don’t know why people keep doing this to me. The same thing happened when I was involved in a V8 saga earlier this year. Ghanaians are just hypocrites.” He wrote on his Facebook wall.

“If it was an ordinary man who posted it, I am sure this wouldn’t have happened. Why did I even get myself into politics? Those in government now are behind this and I know that for a fact.” He added.

He went on to apologize to the young man.

“If my post has caused any harm to this young man, I apologize to him wherever he may be. I don’t have anything against graduates who hustle genuinely. Peace!”

The post was deleted two hours after posting it.
