Majority of Ghanaians On Social Media Are Jobless–Claims New Report By Youth Employment Agency

Ghana’s Youth Employment Agency has stated in a new report that majority of Ghanaian youth are jobless and as such waste all their time on Facebook–instead of hitting the road to look for employment.

The agency blamed Facebook as the cause of almost quarter of Ghana’s unemployment, saying, the youth are lazy and Facebook has made it even worse–giving them a platform to live a life of lies.

Also, the report blamed several of Ghana’s telecommunication networks for offering cheap and sometimes free access to Facebook–saying, this means the youth are constantly logged on, discussing stupid things and pretending to others, instead of thinking about their tomorrow.
