Kofi Amoah, a 35 year old man has been arrested by Ashaiman Police for allegedly stabbing his 28 year old wife.

According to the police report, Kofi Amoah returned home after a hard day’s work at his mechanic shop. As usual, he got home and saw his food on the dining table, neatly covered.

He uncovered his food, only to realize that there was no meat in the bowl of soup that came with his banku. According to him, he had a quarrel with his wife before going to work and thought that was her way of punishing him.

“I don’t know what happened to me. Maybe, it’s the devil. I just took the knife and stabbed her” He said.

His wife’s body has been deposited in the morgue.
