Ecobank Ghana Turns Away a Blind Woman Because She Was Wearing SHADES That Aides Her Vision And Shades Are Not Allowed in Their Banks

Ecobank Ghana has a weird blanket ban policy which prohibits anyone entering their banking from wearing SHADES–it doesn’t matter even if you are Kim Kardashian wearing super expensive Gucci Shades.

This policy which adds to the already no calls in the banking hall measure has come under attack when a blind woman who was confidently walking into Ecobank’s Osu branch with the aid of her dark shades was asked to remove the shades by Security–asserting that, unless she removes the SHADES she wouldn’t be allowed entry.

The blind woman who had only a partial vision because of the prescribed dark SHADES couldn’t get the Security man to understand how important her spectacles are to her–and the absurdity of the Ecobank policy on SHADES which actually doesn’t help in preventing any crime.

After over an hour confrontation with the Security, the woman walked away–swearing to close her bank account with the bank.
