Asiedu Nketia, General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress has said that the President, Nana Addo should resign over Captain Mahama’s death.

According to him, Nana Addo has not shown good leadership. So he should “suspend himself after suspending the DCE”.

“After suspending the DCE, I don’t know what he, Nana Addo is still doing in office. You can’t just be in the comfort of traveling around and just be suspending people. He is a bad leader and cannot rule the nation in peace” he said in a panel discussion on Montie FM.

“When the NPP was in opposition, we saw a lot of acid attacks and other forms of violence in their party. We can’t wait for them to cause a civil war in this country before we know that the President is evil. I will urge the minority in Parliament to push for his impeachment if he doesn’t resign in the next 48 hrs” He added.

He also added that the DCE should be investigated further in order for the police to get more information on the mob attack.
