‘Hassan Ayariga Tried to Poach Me to His APC Party But I Refused’-Akua Donkor

Founder of Ghana’s most vibrant political party-Ghana Freedom Party, Akua Donkor, who is set to be honoured by KNUST with a doctorate degree for her immense contribution to Ghana’s political chaos has stated that she cannot be poached.
Speaking to Kumasi based Luv Fm this afternoon, Akua Donkor refuted claims that she is more NDC than her own party—and added that the NDC has not offered her any incentives to join their party but if they do, she may not dismiss it because Ghana is hard.
She also mentioned that, Hassan Ayariga and his newly formed APC political party tried to poach her to their party because of her experience, excellence and high possibility of winning the upcoming elections—but she refused.
“Actually, Ayariga called me and asked that I join his party so he will make me Vice-President when we win the election together. But I refused. I stand the chance to win on my own so why would I joined him,” she said.
Akua Donkor added “this year, the electoral competition is between myself, Nana Addo and John Mahama. But I am likely to win because everyone likes my thing including Shatta Wale.”
Asked about her upcoming doctorial honouring ceremony, she said “I am excited to know that the KNUST has recognised my brilliance and has decided to honour me. In fact, this is even over due.”
