Aunty Munie Releases List of Ghanaian Celebrities Who Owe Her Waakye Money

Being a celebrity in Ghana comes with so many responsibilities.

Such responsibilities include eating Aunty Munie’s waakye. This has made Aunty Munie waakye one of the most patronized waakye joints in the capital. The joint caters for majority of the celebrities in the country and even the ordinary Ghanaian.

Celebrities who visit the waakye joint take selfies with the waakye and post them on social media. Some even use Auntie Munie in their songs to thank her for meeting their waakye needs.

Unbeknownst to the fans of these celebrities, their icons do not pay for the waakye they consume. Eating at Aunty Munie and not paying has now become a norm among our celebrities. This debt has accumulated into thousands of cedis.

All efforts made by Aunty Munie to retrieve her money from these so called celebrities have proved futile. This left her with no option than to name and shame. In an interview with ScrewLife.Com, the renowned waakye seller brought out a long sheet of paper on which she had recorded the names of celebrities who owe her.

The names she mentioned were as follows Jasmine Baroudi, John Dumelo, Wanlov the Kubolor, Obrafuor, Deborah Vanessa, Afua Schwarzenegger, Jay Foley, Deloris Frimpong Manso (Delay) and Yvonne Nelson.

She added that this is just the first part of the list. The other part will be released very soon.
