Afia SchwarFor the first time in the history of Ghana, a Hollywood producer is set to shoot a Ghanaian horror movie, with Afia Schwarzenegger playing the lead character.

The high budget movie, which will feature prominent faces in our movie industry, will be shot right here in Ghana. According to the executive producer of Insane People’s Media – Mark Zinga – the production house is very delighted to be working with Afia.

Speaking to ScrewLife.Com, Mark said it has always been his dream to cast Afia in a horror movie and he thinks this is the time. In the opinion of Mark, even though the movie will be a high budget one, his production house is still looking forward to cutting down cost, and he believes with Afia Schwarzenegger on board, they can achieve that since she wouldn’t need any special make-up for the role because she’s naturally packaged. 

When asked how he got to know Afia, Mark said he was surfing the net (checking out pictures on Instagram) when he came across a #throwback photo of the actress. According to him, he loved the picture instantly and said to himself “this is what I’m looking for, a perfect face for a horror movie.”

Mark Zinga made us understand that Insane People’s Media has already paid Afia $200,000,000 for the role.

In an interview with ScrewLife FM – a subsidiary of ScrewLife.Com – the actress said she’s very happy to be part of the movie. She therefore urged all Ghanaian movie producers to cherish what they have.

“I’ve stayed in Ghana for a very long time but producers do not see the good in me. I entreat them to cherish what they have. After this movie is shot, I’ll be in Guinness Book of Records as the first Ghanaian to feature in a horror movie with no special make-up,” she stated.

We’ve gathered that Mark Zinga is considering using Atom’s hit single – ‘Y3 w) krom’ – as the movie soundtrack, especially the part that says “horror fuo w) krom.”

The movie, titled ‘Super Scary’, will be shown in all cinemas across the globe when all is done.
