Smarrty’s Management Limited, the company which shot to fame on the back of Ghana’s bus branding scandal is the company that conceived and beautifully designed the trending EC logo, ScrewLife.Com has learnt.
Apparently, for the first time in the company’s life, the company decided to do something a little cheap for Ghanaians since its first highly expensive state bus contract did not go down well.
“Smarrty’s Management Limited has come to accept that Ghanaians love to save cost and as a result, we came up with this cheap and yet brilliant logo,” a source at the company stated.
The source added; “it’s shocking that even with this cheap production cost which reflects on the logo, Ghanaians are not still satisfied with the choice of colours or the simplicity of the design.”
For over a week now, Ghanaians have received with dissatisfaction the Electoral Commission’s decision to change its long standing logo—with insane arguments that the logo has the colours of the incumbent political party and that would affect the outcome of the upcoming elections.
Considering Smarrty’s Management Limited’s obsession with bloated pricing, it’s particularly interesting and great that they managed to pull this for the EC at a low cost of just 1 million dollars. But it’s disappointing that Ghanaians have rejected such a great piece of artwork.
