Asiedu Nketiah: ‘I Will Leave Ghana for Good if Nana Akufo Addo Becomes President & I Know That Will Never Happen’
Mr. Asiedu Nketiah affectionately called General Mosquito, the General Secretary of the ruling party-NDC has boldly stated that he will go on a self imposed exile should the opposition party comes to power, under the watch of Nana Akufo Addo.
Asiedu Nketiah is sure, over confident that his party will once again with the upcoming election and has therefore placed a bet with everyone that, if this does not happen, then he will leave Ghana.
Speaking on Adom Fm this morning, he said: “President Mahama has done what no leader has ever done for Ghana and I am not only sure that we are winning this year’s election smoothly, I am confident it is inevitable and if we don’t win, I will leave Ghana.”
Asked what should be done to him if the NPP wins and he’s seen loitering around, he said: “my brother, that will not even happen. But if they win, I will be out of this country the next very day.”
Ghanaians will go to the poll on December 7 to elect a new president.
