Association of Kumawood Witches Suspends Kyeiwaa

One cannot mention the Ghana movie industry without mentioning Kumawood, that is, movies made in Kumasi. The Kumawood industry has over the past years held high the flag for Ghanaian movies hence most industry players say it’s the savoir of Ghanaian movie industry.

Numerous movies are churned out day in day out with a very huge market waiting to consume them. Kumawood movies are full of comedy and wonderful incidents. Ghosts are seen looking left and right before crossing a road. A wife poisons her husband, stirs the soup with the poison in there and tastes it but doesn’t die; meanwhile the husband dies after eating the food. All these and many wonderful scenarios make Kumawood movies fun to watch.

One trademark of Kumawood movies is the Witches. A Kumawood movie is never complete without the presence of a witch. The Kumawood industry has produced a lot of witches over the past few years. Being a Kumawood witch is a feather in one’s cap and aspiring witches would kill to have such a prestige.

This is because Kumawood witches have great and unlimited powers and can do anything at any given time. Their only nemesis however is Apostle John Prah, who always gives them a run for their money.

The most famous, popular and respected amongst the Kumawood witches is Kyeiwaa.

Kyeiwaa has been a Kumawood witch for a very long time hence making her a role model to other up and coming witches. Being the mother of all Kumawood Witches, she decided to form an association so all Kumawood Witches would come together as one. This association she named Association of Kumawood Witches- KUMAW for short. The association is headed by Kyeiwaa with other witches occupying various positions.

Not long ago, ScrewLife.Com was served with an invitation to appear at KUMAW’s annual press conference. At the press conference, the communication director for the association made it known to all that their president in the person of Kyeiwaa has been suspended until further notice. This came as a surprise to the various media houses.

In an interview with the suspended witch after the press conference, she made it known to ScrewLife.Com that she was suspended due to the fact that her marriage is one of the shortest marriages the association has ever seen. She got married to one young man a few months ago. Unbeknownst to her, the man was married hence her marriage to him had to be dissolved in less than 48 hours. This she said brought shame to the association and her position hence the suspension.
