Reggie and Bollie

Individually, they were mini stars in Ghana, a country where they started their musical journeys as solo artistes but could not obtain any meaningful fame and prosperity.

Then they became ‘Menn on Point’, auditioned for ‘British Got Talent’ where they could not impress any of the judges, not even the cats who watched them on TV while their owners were cooking in the kitchen.

But they did not give up, they forged forward as a duo and broke the X-factor barrier, still as Menn on Point—and later, became Reggie Zippy and Bollie.

Straight from Ghana with a few years of stay in the UK, the two musicians who always wanted an opportunity to make a global impact have made it to the finals of UK’s most watched talent show-X Factor.

Their success has not only generated for them a global attention and support, but the manager of the two stars has told ScrewLife.Com that; “a few minutes after making it to the finals, several people started  calling from Ghana, asking for money and help from Reggie n Bollie.”

He said “when Reggie and Bollie started, not a lot of people had faith in them or even knew them. But after this finals, we received 126 calls in just over an hour from Ghana—with some asking them to come and help pay the school fees of their kids and others asking them to foot their hospital bills since they do not have anyone to help.”

The manager who was upset continued “this is shocking and the same time annoying, the boys have not even won the money yet—however, all manner of people are claiming to have been behind them from day one which is a big lie and also now those back home have started calling to ask for money.”

Asked whether Reggie and Bollie know these folks who have been calling in, the manger replied “for where? I don’t even know how all of a sudden they have become so important to every Ghanaian and how these people got their numbers. The most annoying one is a woman that claims to sell Waakye at Dansoman—who said Bollie owes her some waakye payment 5 years ago and he has to come and pay with interest now or she will go to the media.”

ScrewLife.Com wanted to speak to the two super stars-Reggie n Bollie but we were told, they were at the gym and as such we should call back later.
