Kumawood Releases New Movie Titled ‘Oh Afoko’ | Afoko Threatens to Sue the Producer for Making Fun of Him

While leaders of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) are trying their possible best to discipline recalcitrant members in the party, producers in Kumasi are also busy cashing in on this ‘disciplinary exercise’ by the party.

Not too long ago, the National Chairman of the party, Mr. Paul Afoko, was suspended by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of NPP for gross misconduct that put the party in disrepute.

Knowing how vibrant Kumawood is when it comes to jumping on trending issues, it shouldn’t be surprising that the Afoko-NPP issue is the order of the day for our Kumawood producers.

ScrewLife.Com is told the new movie mirrors the qualms between Paul Afoko and NPP – with some level of humor added to it.

Speaking to our Kumasi-based correspondent, the producer said they are currently on set shooting another movie based on the life experiences of Kwabena Agyei Agyepong (suspended NPP General Secretary). According to him, they are waiting for NPP to suspend more members so they can also produce more movies out of the party’s misfortune.

Even though Paul Afoko, we are told, isn’t happy about the new movie, the executive producer said he doesn’t care about what Afoko thinks, all that he’s interested in is to make money and that’s exactly what he’s doing.

Meanwhile, we have been reliably informed that Paul Afoko is threatening to take legal action against the producer of the movie, as well as the entire cast for making unnecessary fun of him.
