Bisa Kdei Nearly Beaten By Fans for Sounding Totally Different At A Live Concert
It has been a booming weekend for Ghanaian musicians as several concerts were hosted across the country—in fact, Christmas remains their cocoa season, where their demand increases over the roof.
One of such musicians who had several concerts lined up was Ghana’s trending highlife musician-Bisa Kdei of ‘Odo Carpenter’ fame. He has had a great year—and when you hear his songs play, saying his voice is great is an underestimate.
However, concert goers in Kumasi were deeply disappointed on Christmas day when Bisa Kdei failed to live up to his own voice, what they’ve been hearing play on radio and TV.
Apparently, Bisa Kdei opted for a live performance at the concert and according to several of the concert goers ScrewLife.Com spoke to, his voice was more like that of a pregnant frog—nothing like the sleeky loving Bisa voice.
For many, this was a total deception and they even doubted if indeed the man on that stage was Bisa Kdei so chaos broke out as people starting throwing charcoal and emptied their pockets by throwing whatever they could find in there—majorly coins onto the stage.
ScrewLife.Com is told that the man on stage disappeared—running for his life. And from what the concert goers said, the disparity in the beauty of the voice was so huge that we cannot even fathom how that could have been Bisa Kdei.
Luckily for him, he had a place to run to—else, he would have been heavily beaten by the angry patrons who felt cheated.
This brings into mind what happened to American musician-T-Pain some years ago. Perhaps, Bisa is T-Pain’s brother from another mother.
