Chocolate Re-branding

After having witnessed the success and the manner the public has praised his husband over the recent 3.6 million cedis bus re-branding exercise—where President Mahama’s photo was plastered on 116 buses in coloured and all ex-leaders in black and white, Lordina Mahama has also decided to secure a bit of the public appraisal.

For Lordina, she is not a head of state and therefore could not get her face on the buses. We are told she wanted President Mahama to re-brand the cedis and slap her face on there, Asiedu Nketiah rejected this.

So, Lordina, the most powerful first lady Ghana has ever had decided to re-brand herself on Ghana’s cocoa—but it was difficult to print her photos on the cocoa beans sacks. She wanted to go international.

Then the clever idea came in; let’s put our beautiful first lady on the chocolate, an exercise which cost her millions of dollars—but she gladly paid with her husband’s credit card.

The next time you are looking for a chocolate to buy, make sure you buy the Lordina Mahama branded chocolate—that way, she can cut some of her losses.
