ScrewLifeThe Editors of Ghana’s leading news website-ScrewLife.Com have been handed an invitation letter from the office of the President of Ghana over what the government says its an appalling work done on Ghana’s Independence Day Brochure which has attracted a global attention.

Contrary to the government’s position of dissatisfaction, the Editors claim they did their best—and that was an excellent work done per their standard.

For this reason, they find it a little hypocritical that the government which hired them to put together the content of the brochure was well aware of their expertise and after they’ve accordingly delivered, they are being called to answer questions instead of being honoured with the 2 weeks holidays to Dubai which was promised.

The 3 intellectuals who serve as Editors of the constant-on-trend website said; “we invested a lot of time into making the brochure an excellent piece of artwork and it took us 40 days and nights to achieve the level of excellence we served.”

“It’s therefore dishonest and fundamentally fraudulent that the government of Ghana is looking for ways not to pay us the remaining money owned us plus granting us the bonus holiday—and as such, looking to say we did not deliver a great piece,” they added.

They continued; “Perhaps, someone at the seat of government as a result of incompetence confused what’s the definition of excellent work from the beginning—and that person ought to be dealt with, not us.”

For now, it’s unclear if the 3 Editors would honour the invitation or hire aggressive debt collectors to chase the government of Ghana for the remaining payment due them.

Ghana’s 59th Independence Day brochure was error-ridden; the brochure stated among other things that Uhuru Kenyatta was the president of Ghana—and also, Ghana was found on the Equator.
