Yaw Siki

Ghanaian Hiplife musician turned preacher of the gospel, Yaw Siki (born Isaac Okai) has announced on Accra-based radio station, Accra FM, that he needs financial assistance from benevolent people.

This plea comes after the gospel musician cum preacher rejected an offer from UK-based Ghanaian gospel musician, Sonnie Badu because the latter violated Christian ethics by telling the world about his intentions of helping him (Yaw Siki).

Speaking on Accra FM Friday evening, Yaw Siki said he has, and still going through a lot financially. According to him, he sometimes finds it very difficult getting money to buy basic necessities like water and food. Like he previously said, he currently lives on the support from his family and the little money he gets from people when he preaches to them.

Asked if he would consider going back to Sonnie Badu for forgiveness and accept help from him, the Jeggings Party hit maker said he wishes but there’s nothing he can do about it again. According to him, the media blew his statement out of proportion, making it seem he rejected the offer outright, which wasn’t his intention.

Yaw Siki closed the chapter by stating that he’s ready to receive help from anyone who wishes to assist him, provided the person does not announce it on Instagram and Facebook. He said, “Anyone who wishes to help me should please hurry and contact me in private, not on social media sites. I really need help.”
