Asiedu Nketiah Says ‘If You Are Unhappy With Ghana’s Economy, Go And Watch Kalybos & Majid Michel’
The General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress-NDC, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito has angrily told complaining Ghanaians that if they are unhappy with the great work President Mahama has done with the economy, they should head to the Silverbird cinema to watch Kalybos & Majid Michel’s latest movie—because that’s where they will find unfettered excitement.
Despite what members of the NDC regard as unprecedented effort by President Mahama to set the economy of Ghana on the right path, several Ghanaians continue to complain—saying, things are increasingly getting hard.
According to Asiedu Nketiah, Ghana’s economy has been stabilized by Mahama’s administration and even though the NDC government came to meet huge debt when they took power, they’ve worked so hard, borrowing little and pay more of Ghana’s debt.
Speaking on Tema based Adom Fm, Mr. Mosquito said; “Ghanaians who continue to complain are just being ungrateful because the economy is on its two legs and if people are really unhappy, then they should go and watch Amakye & Dede, Kalybos and Majid Michel’s latest movie.”
‘Amakye & Dede’, the latest production from Kofas media will be premiered in Accra on Easter Saturday, 26th March, 2016—at the SilverBird cinemas at Accra and West Hills mall.
The movie stars Majid Michel and Kalybos in the title roles, two childhood friends who’ve grown up and still remain inseparable. But then, when they both fall in love with Ahuofe Patri’s character- their long time friendship is threatened.
To overcome this challenge and still retain their friendship, they cook up what they think is an ingenious plan. They both chase the girl, and whoever wins her hand gets to be the lucky one. It’s the ‘This Means War’ of Ghanaian cinema.
Aside these mouth watering actors already mentioned, the movie also features several other big names on the local scene, including John Dumelo, Emelia Brobbey, Roselyn Ngissah, Apostle John Prah, Salma Munin, Fred Nuamah, Boga Gh, Kobi Rana, Grace Nortey, Yaw Dabo, Jackson Davis and Moesha Boduong.
