José Mourinho In Ghana For Black Stars Job After Avram Grant Insulted Ghanaians
Former Chelsea manager, José Mário dos Santos Mourinho Félix, popularly known as José Mourinho has arrived in Ghana to take up the Black Stars coaching job – our sources have revealed.
His appointment comes at a time when Avram Grant has consistently been showing lack of interest in coaching the senior national team.
Hitting back at his critics after a 3-1 win over Mozambique at the Accra Sports Stadium, Avram said “If this Nation will concentrate on the football and not the bullsh*t, and just the football because there is a lot of passion, we can reach higher, high level. It is a long term target but it’s achievable.”
The statement which did not go down well with many soccer enthusiasts, including Alhaji Grunsah called for the dismissal of the coach. Their prayers have been answered since the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited José Mourinho for the job.
The FA is expected to make public announcement of the arrival and commencement of job by Mourinho as soon as possible.
