“I’ll Vote For Akuffo-Addo This Time” – J.A. Kufuor
Former Ghanaian President, John Agyekum Kufuor, has stated that he will definitely campaign and vote for New Patriotic Party’s flag bearer, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo, this time in the upcoming general elections.
In an exclusive interview with ScrewLife.Com Monday morning, the retired Ghanaian politician and statesman who served as the second President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana and Chairperson of the African Union said Ghana is retrogressing under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) led John Dramani Mahama and the only person who can save Ghanaians is Nana Akufo-Addo.
According to him, even though he is a staunch NPP member, he did not vote for Akuffo-Addo in the last general elections because he was convinced by Akua Donkor to vote for John Mahama.
He said, “Akua Donkor did everything possible to convince me to vote for Mahama. I had no option than to comply.”
However, Mr. Kufuor said he won’t allow himself to be fooled again by the founder of Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor.
“Come what may, I’ll vote for Akuffo-Addo this time. I won’t let Akua Donkor deceive me again to vote for John Mahama. Mahama is destroying Ghana,” he asserted.
When asked why he allowed himself to be deceived by Akua Donkor, Kufuor said, “Ɛno koraa na mennte aseƐ no. I don’t think far. I don’t think madness.”
