Instagram Ghanaian celebrity-Moesha Boduong is unhappy about Ghana’s Inspector General of Police’s on-going contemplation and bluff to block access to social media during Ghana’s November 7 elections—and just like many other Ghanaians, she has been thinking about ways to circumvent the blockage if it actually happens.

Not long ago, Moesha posted an image on instagram with the caption; Free Speech is a pillar of democracy which should be cherished and not blocked.

She then wrote; “the IGP says he will ban social media on elections day; what has Ama Ghana become these days? We are a democratic country for Christ sake and banning social media is not the solution to anything because those who will be violent will not do so on social media but at the various polling stations.”

She continue; “it will be sad if indeed social media is blocked in Ghana. For me, I will use twitter if it is blocked even though I don’t like twitter that much.”
