‘I’ll Be Remembered As a Great Boxer Like Muhammed Ali When I Die’ – Bukom Banku
There’s not a single person on Earth who wouldn’t be remembered for a particular thing when s/he’s no more. For Muhammed Ali who passed on recently, he is being remembered as a legend and a great boxer.
This has moved Ghanaian undefeated boxer, Bukom Banku also known as Banku Flesh to state that he will also be remembered as a great boxer just like Muhammed Ali when he dies.
According to Bukom Banku, he needs not convince Ghanaians and the world that he is currently the world’s greatest. In a Facebook post published on Ghana’s upcoming ambassador to Germany’s wall, he said, “It’s sad to hear that a legend has passed away – RIP Muhammed Ali. And to all Ghanaians, when I die, I know I’ll be remembered as a great boxer when I also die. Maybe, I will be greater than Muhammed Ali.”
He further stated, “I’m the only boxer who has been able to bleach his skin successfully. Was Muhammed Ali able to do that? No. I’m the only boxer who will soon become a High Commissioner. I’m the only black boxer who the white people think I’m their brother because of my skin color. Muhammed Ali couldn’t achieve all these so you know why I’m going to be remembered as a great boxer.”
