Sarkodie Apologizes to Fans…Says D-Black Wrote His Kanta Lyrics & That Explains the Misfiring
Talented Ghanaian rapper-Sarkodie has somewhat conceded defeat—saying, his Kanta lyrics which was supposed to be an assault on M.anifest but has become a disappointed piece of work is largely due to the fact that D-Black wrote the rap for him.
According to Sarkodie, he was busy in Canada while M.anifest was shadowing his excellence with his godMC all over social media so he accepted D-Black’s offer to write a fatal knock-out response for him—pro bono.
He added; “in fact when I got the rap lyrics, I wasn’t really feeling it but I decided to go with it—thinking Ghanaians wouldn’t spot the inconsistencies, misfiring and the inherent ridiculousness of the flow.”
On the issue of “Pro Bono”, he told SL that, “how am I supposed to know the actual meaning of the word when I have never bene to a Law School? The word is not even in ordinary English dictionaries—except in Law dictionaries.”
He says, when he gets to Ghana—he will write his own punchlines and launch a proper assault on M.anifest.
