President Mahama

Ghana’s outgoing President, John Dramani Mahama who only served one term as a president, contrary to the usual two terms expected has told the CNN in his last interview today that, Ghanaians are extensively grateful for his good works.

Speaking to CNN’s Special Correspondent to Africa-Tim Owen, President Mahama said among other things that, “I will go down history as a special kind of Ghanaian President. A person who lifted the face of infrastructure and would have been given a second term in most African countries, but I was denied that.”

He continued, “Despite it all, I have served Ghana well and I know Ghanaians are extensively grateful.”

President Mahama also said that he will use the rest of his life to enjoy life with his family–travel around the world on his diplomatic passport backed by a bank account full of ex-gratia.
