1st July is a day set aside in Ghana to commemorate Republic Day. All Ghanaians will be in a reflective mood, looking at how far the country has come.

A group calling themselves the Ghana Association of Boss Chicks (GABC) will not be left out of the day’s commemoration. However, they have issued a press release, which includes the group’s mobile money account which will be used to receive monetary gifts on the day.

“We do not want to be left out of this year’s republic day as it marks our first year of existence as a group. We are very happy that we were officially launched on the Republic Day of our beloved country. In view of this, we are receiving gifts in all forms. If the gifts are monetary, send them via mobile money number: 0244556677.” They said.

The statement which was signed by the Secretary of the group is yet to be circulated to all media houses. Our GABC correspondent leaked it to us first.
