A middle aged man died at Korle Bu Hospital on Saturday, July 29 2017. According to reports, this happened after he collapsed when his favorite Waakye seller did not show up after 9 a.m.

“The woman usually comes at 7 a.m. and there is always a long queue. In order to beat the queue, he came here around 5 a.m. He was very happy since he was the first to arrive.” A neighbor said.

“At 7:30, we didn’t see any sign of the woman’s arrival and people decided to leave. At 8:30, I saw him crying and even though I advised him to leave, he refused.” The neighbor added.

“My husband came back home after 9 crying and complaining about the waakye seller. He collapsed; and we quickly rushed him to the hospital where he died upon arrival” His wife said in tears.
