Martin Amidu has, after the President’s appointment, received the approval of many Ghanaians who think he is the right man for the job.

During his vetting by the Appointments Committee of parliament, Martin Amidu made some startling comments that reaffirms his commitment to prosecute all thieves in the public system.

“I will prosecute anyone who has stolen state money. You see those Gyeeda Guinea fouls, I will try them. I will bring them all from Burkina Faso. Also, if they have been used for Khebab or soup, I will still find a way of getting them. We will look for the places where those who ate the meat defecated and we will pick samples to prosecute them. We can’t waste money like that.” He said

“I will look at all Government’s transactions from the colonial era and prosecute dead people too. Even if Ebony and Super OD have spent some of the money, they will also be prosecuted.” He added.

Martin Amidu’s vetting is the longest in the history of Ghana and it is obvious why.
