The Black Stars scored a goal in the dying minutes of the game against Uganda. However, the goal was disallowed by the South African official who claimed it was an offside.

This decision has made Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the World Cup in Russia next year as slim as Asiedu Nketia.

The coach and players of the senior National team were very furious with the referee and threatened to beat him after the game.

In an interview with the referee, this is what he had to say:

“I saw it. It was a clean goal. But you see, I cannot allow Ghana to go to Russia and do what they did in Brazil again. They cannot go and disgrace the African continent again. That is why I deliberately disallowed the goal.” He said.

The Black Stars have vowed to petition Fifa about this.
