Dying Prophet Rushed to Hospital in Techiman After He Was Bitten By A Snake He Claims He Had Tamed With the Holy Spirit

A Prophet was nearly killed by a cobra snake yesterday in Techiman in the Brong Ahafo Region when the poisonous snake he claims to have tamed using the Holy Spirit came out of a box it was being caged in to bite him.

Prophet Elijah Osei Antwi has been gaining popularly at Techiniman and its surrounding villages for performing some of the most interesting miracles—such as, giving out lottery numbers to his congregation, asking God for twins for couples and healing the cripple.

He’s well known for his instant miracles and during a crusade yesterday, he spoke about the fact that with the power of the Holy Spirit, you can command the mountain to move and it will move—or you can walk over poisonous snakes and they wouldn’t be able to bite you because the Holy Spirit will tame them.

To demonstrate this, a glass box with a cobra snake in there was brought out and for about 5 times, he kept putting his hand in there while the snake tried to run away from his touch—claiming, the Holy Spirit is at work.

But he kept doing it and perhaps got the snake pissed—quickly, the snake landed a bite on his hands, eye-witnesses claim.

Instead of running to the hospital, Elijah Osei Antwi prayed over the bite and kept on preaching—few minutes later, he collapsed.

That was when his church members started screaming, and he was rushed to the Techiman Hospital.
